AboutÈve Angeli (real name Vanessa Annelyse Ève Garcin) is a French composer, pianist & singer, born on August 25, 1980 in Sète, France. A music fan, she took singing lessons & got her Baccalauréat L, then moved to Paris in 1998. In 1999, she participated to "Graines De Star", became the finalist of the tour & signed to M6 Interactions.
"Avant De Partir", her debut single, was a success with 500,000 copies sold & 4 months in the French Top 50. In April 2001, the young woman released her debut album Aime-Moi, continued with "Elle" (gold disc), "Nos Différences", a duet with A1 in 2002 & the cover of the Italian song "Felicità" in 2004. Her second album Nos Différences came out in November 2002. Since late 2000, she sold more that 1.5 million CDs & gave 250 concerts in France, Belgium, Switzerland, Tunisia, French Reunion... She was awarded with 6 gold discs.
In 2002, Ève received a NRJ Music Award for "French Revelation" & in 2004, she participated to "La Ferme Célébrités". After 7 videos, 2 albums, a compilation & the book "Ma Revanche, Mon Innocence", she didn't give up & signed to Sony BMG/Columbia in late 2004. Her third album Viens came out in June 2005 & included 11 songs, between symphonic sounds & modern rhythms. She became a spokeswoman for the association PETA against animal fur & got her own real TV on M6, "La Vraie Vie D'Ève Angeli". In 2007, she married her songwriter Michel Rostaing & the following year, she released Révolution on the independent way.
