The band won popularity since 1999, when they released their debut-album Desde el sótano. 6 Voltios has released 6 studio albums, all with the approval of the Peruvian and Latin population.
The song "Anecdote" from the band Bad Astronaut (2001) was completely copied for their song "Dia plastico". Joey Cape frontman of Bad Astrounaut and Lagwagon has denied any collaboration nor given permission to the Peruvian band.

They won popularity in the release of their debut-album (1999) influenced by Ska and then released many Studio Albums with the approval of Peruvian and Latin Population. Also made gigs around Peru in a National Tour (2002) and countries like Chile and Mexico. Created their own Record Label called Calavera Records (2). Since 2nd album (2000) started using Melodic Punk in their style. The song "Anecdote" from the band Bad Astronaut (2001) was completely copied in their song "Dia Plastico", their frontman Joey Cape has denied any collaboration nor given permission to them. Supporting Band for Attaque 77 and 2 Minutos (2003), Molotov and Los Prisioneros (2004). Best Band by Peruvian Newspaper from Lima El Comercio (2004) and contribute with the promotional campaigns of Inka Kola (2007)
