AboutAuletta was founded in Mainz, Germany, in 2005. The band members are Alexander Zwick (vocals, guitar), Martin Kloos (guitar), Johannes Juschzak (drums) and Daniel Juschzak (bass). They named the band after an italian city they drove through at vacation in 2006.
In 2008 they won the Rockbuster finals, a band competition in Rheinland-Pfalz. After that they signed a contract with EMI.
Their first album Pöbelei & Poesie was published in June 2009.
