AboutAx Solo is a Canadian rock band, formed on September 28th, 2004.
In past two and a half years this band has been in existence, they have covered a whole lot of ground. This mostly instrumental rock band mostly influenced by Metallica and Van Halen, started off strong, making a good first impression. With one performance, they were invited to play at the annual Westfest at Ottawa. They went on to perform at other places all over Ontario too. With requests, or invites. Their first ever album, with no title, was set loose in 2004. It was used as a sample disc to venues who wanted to hear their music before they invited them. Then on 7/7/2006, Ax Solo announced a release date for their first ever public single, "For Whom The Master Fades" release under the label Avium Records. A seven minute intrumental master-piece, was the song featured on the album, along with the live version. This single was also available with a DVD of the live performance.
In May 2006, the band set up their first official website, www.AxSolo.co.nr. After this website started, there have been more and more fans. This band is yet to play anywhere outside of Canada.
