About"Broken City Skies" was formed by Cameron Mcdonald(vocals),and Cameron Burns(bass), soon after the idea they found Josiah Evensen who became there first drummer, Jeremy Edgren, former guitarist for "Altissimus" came on board as the bands guitarist soon after that. The band started to write music to play a benefit concert for the "Invisible Children" organization in early 2011. After playing the show Broken City Skies decided to keep writing music together. soon after Evensen left the band and Tanner Paige filled his spot. broken city skies continued to write. Paige was out of the band, Broken city skies was left without a drummer once again, the band went back to Evensen to fill the spot for a short time, during that time.The band found guitarist Gordon Dufresne,former band member of "war buffalo". Evensen left the band soon after. Drummer Andy Newman joined the band to take the spot, now with a full band they continued to work on there Ep. In July of 2011 Broken City Skies recorded the first single "Ready Or Not" with Pat and Jack from Roosevelt Recordings. The Band Returned to Roosevelt in September 9Th through the 11Th of 2011 to record there first EP tittled "The Mind Less Traveled". The Ep is set to release late November early December of 2011.
