AboutChris Porter, born as Christiaan van Eijk, is a dutch electronic music producer from the Netherlands.
His first connection to music happened at the age of 6 years old, when he stared to experiment in writing music on the keyboard he got from his parents for Christmas. Later, after having played piano for many years, Chris got inspired to produce electronic music in which he wanted to combine the EDM sound of today, with his own acoustic roots.
In 2015 Chris signed with his management team and released his remix for Ed Sheeran's hit track 'Photograph' which lead to a lot of feedback from high profile music industry professionals.
After taking a full year off of releasing in 2016, to fully focus on writing and producing new music, Chris signed with Sony Music International as his new label.
