AboutSince early 2004 something has been brewing in Sydneys south.This concoction is Chrysolite, a 5-piece power pop/punk rock band that began building up a solid fan base all over Australia with their Greg Stace produced debut EP release Something So Beautiful. This release saw the band tour extensively around the country playing sold out shows in NSW, Queensland and South Australia.
With the band teaming up with Greg Stace to produce six brand-new angry rock anthems, Chrysolite are once again set to release their unique brand of punk rock onto the country. But while most bands would be complacent to rest on their laurels, Chrysolites dedication and committed work ethic towards their band has seen them continue to write new and unheard songs throughout the recording process and have developed an even newer sound that rivals an international standard.
With this under their belt, a line-up shuffle and an intense live performance, Chrysolite are once again set to embark on a national tour which will see them take their live show across the country. With Fasterlouder.com.au stating "This (five-piece) band from Sydney's Shire (play) a very tight set with some of the most intense drumming I have ever seen" and The Drum Media describing their live performance as a "tight set filled with flying guitars and strong vocals", you know that these shows are not to be missed.
This time around their 6 track EP "Things That Mean Stuff" is bound to turn heads with its powerful and infectious melodies and its potent and sincere lyrics.
