About The eldest son of Barbara Lucas was born De'Andre Lucas in 1992 at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery, Alabama. De'Andre was raised in Atlanta in the Bradford Park section of Riverdale. De'Andre Lucas also known as Dre Fly. In August of 2005 De'Andre's older sister Shamekia Lucas was laid to rest at the age of 21 due to complications of sickle-cell anemia. A month prior to Shamekia's untimely death De'Andre recorded his first professional song which was never heard by his late, older sister Shamekia Lucas. De'Andre aka Dre Fly looked at this, not as an ill-fated, heartbreaking event, but as an inspiring, blessed sign that would empower him to reach incomparable heights. Since the tender age of 3, Dre Fly has had a recognized ability to rap. After mastering the Fruity Loops production program he recorded his first song-"Miss You" commemorating the death of his sister. One year later at the age of 13 he recorded and released his first, self-titled album which sold out of stores. On top of giving his listeners hype beats and a positive vibe, Dre Fly wants to relay the message to the inner-city, poverty-stricken youth that anything is possible and your current situation should not deter your dreams and aspirations; and with dedication, a little "elbow grease" and inspiration you can be successful. Dre Fly decided to pursue a career as a music artist when he saw family members not going far in the business. Capitalizing on mistakes made by his predecessors he is now carrying the torch to success. Although 15 years old and a sophomore in high school, Dre Fly is a "young boss." With the title of Rap Artist under his belt, he is also a business man. He is the CEO of his own independent record label Tragic Ent. Dre Fly can be mentioned in the same breath as Jay Z, Lil Wayne, and T.I. who like Dre Fly is a rap artist and CEO of a label. With hits like "Richie Rich Ridin" and "How She Do That," Dre Fly's music can be heard throughout the country on radio stations in Ohio to Hawaii and all over California. Dre Fly's style is like that of no other. When he is on a track he sticks out like a priest in a back alley salon. Dre Fly tops off his enticing lyrics with his patented "Yea Boy." Juggling school, the pressures of being a teenager, and life being a young rap artist, Dre Fly continues to stay humble and driven. The ever busy CEO and artist is working on his album Loved by few, Hated by many, which will be dropping sometime in 2008. The first single "How She Do That" already has a video to be premiered in March of 2008. Along with the production on his album, Dre Fly is planning a couple tours and planning to work with Jkwon as well as a few top secret projects. Doing shows and signing autographs for his loyal fans are a couple aspects of the game that excites Dre Fly the most. Dre Fly says "getting money is cool too but if the fans don't like it, they don't buy it, and you don't get paid." In-time Dre Fly would like to work with artists such as Chris Brown, Keyshia Cole, and Chamillionaire but until that time comes, Dre Fly is tirelessly working to get to where a young artist like him self is saying "I want to be successful so I can work with Dre Fly."
