    Ginie Line (real name Virginie Peraldi-Desettre) is a French actress, pianist & singer-songwriter, born on May 14, 1974 in Montreuil-sous-Bois, France. She has a daughter, Charlie. Ginie grew up in Marseille, where she studied hairdressing & was a music lover. At daytime, she worked as a hairdresser & at nighttime, she sang with a band in piano-bars from French Riviera. One evening, she met a producer. Ginie created her own songs, helped by the band's pianist for the music & her mother Chantal for the lyrics. In 1997, she came back to Paris. Her debut single "Un Simple Pas" was well-received & the following year, she recorded a duet with Florent Pagny, "J'Oublierai Ton Nom", for his album Recréation.
    She became a star when she was given the role of Néfertari in Pascal Obispo's musical "Les Dix Commandements". In 2002, she recorded a duet with Ray Charles, "Ensemble" & released her single "Ailleurs". In 2003, Ginie has been Marc Lavoine's supporting act & released another single, "C'Est Moi Qui Fais L'Homme". 2005 was the year of the consecration with her debut album Play & various music styles, she proved her talent & the beauty of her voice. In 2011, Ginie played Satine in Kamel Ouali's musical Dracula, L'Amour Plus Fort Que La Mort.
    In 2014, she participated to the TV show The Voice, La Plus Belle Voix, aired on TF1. Jenifer Bartoli became her vocal coach. Unfortunately, she has been eliminated on April 5, along with Pierre Edel, Bruno Moreno & Spleen.
