AboutGrégory Ken (real name Jean-Pierre Trochu) was a French singer & guitarist, born in 1947 in Paris, France & dead on April 26, 1996 in Paris. He started his career as a guitarist in the band Claude & Ses Tribuns. He has also been a guitarist for France Gall's summer tour. In 1967, Grégory released his first 7", "Je Fais La La La".
In 1981, he was part of the duet Chagrin D'Amour with Valli. Their hits have been "Chacun Fait C'Qui Lui Plaît", "Bonjour V'là Les Nouvelles" & "V.A.L.L.I.". After the duet's split in 1984, Grégory Ken went solo again. In 1989, he released "Prête-Moi Ton Amour", the French adaptation of Aaron Neville's "Tell It Like It Is".
In 1991, he has been an off-screen voice on Canal +. In 1996, he died of cancer.
