In the realm of music, there are those who practice art and those entertainers more prone to artifice. High Holy Days are the former: practitioners of honest and heartfelt hard rock. Their legions of dedicated fans already know that there's a genuine delivery that engages the audience and draws converts at every show. Their dynamic and energetic performances have made their name in the active music fan circles across Canada. Their work ethic has grown their allies and they are now poised to take their message to a larger audience with the release of All My Real Friends.

High Holy Days formed in the fall of 2000 and quickly went from playing local bars around their home base of North Bay, Ontario, to clubs and festivals around the country. They have toured Theory of a Deadman, Three Days Grace, the Headstones, Default and countless others, catching the attention of concert-goers and music industry types alike. Producer Graham Brewer was inspired by what he heard and the band went into Metalworks Studios to capture their live energy on disc. Thereafter, their songs saw action on Canadian Rock radio and drew in ever more attention.

HHD continued to gain far-flung fans and captured the interest of Roadrunner Records, with whom the band subsequently signed. All My Real Friends is the product of their craft and drive. The title track first single is now their calling card to the world at large through radio and video but, most importantly, once again they will be spreading the word through their mighty live shows.

As Marc says, "We logged a ton of miles on the road last year and played with some of our favorite bands. This year we want to bring our message to the world. Our medium is the music and we're grateful to have the opportunity to do this."

Billy expands, "It's great to be on the road playing for our fans, to quote a fellow musician: 'every man needs an excuse to leave home'."

Ever mindful on working towards the next goal, preparations are already underway for the next album. The band has started work on their hometown musical headquarters, christened The Woodworks Studio. When not on the road, writing and recording now has a dedicated place. "It's really important to have your own space separate from the world, to capture the music as it comes together. There's a reason The Woodworks doesn't have any windows." says Marc.

High Holy Days have the passion, the work ethic, the long-term plan. Their message is to play honest rock with power and dedication. Whether on your stereo or on your stage, they deliver.
