AboutThe band got started in 2002, when the three original members reformed their old punk band (then known as No Tagbacks) and changed their name to House of Heroes. They said the name was to signify their goal of being a Christian band after reforming. They released What You Want Is Now, their first album, in 2003.

In 2005, Toby McKeehan signed them to Gotee Records, and the band released their self-titled album shortly after that. Also in 2005, the band toured with other bands, such as Relient K, Rufio, and MxPx. The band re-released their self-titled album on Mono Vs Stereo in 2006, with the title Say No More, and two bonus tracks ("The Invisible Hook," and "You Are the Judas of the Cheerleading Squad"). They are currently writing songs for their third full-length album. Their lineup is currently Tim Skipper on guitar and lead vocals, Colin Rigsby on drums and backing vocals, and Jared Rigsby on bass and backing vocals.

Jared Rigsby, Colin's brother, replaced A.J. Babcock as the band's live bassist in December, 2005, as Babcock was tired of touring. Prior to joining the band Jared Rigsby was a sophomore BFA acting major at Otterbein College in Westerville, OH before dropping out of school at the end of the autumn 2006 quarter. As of September 2006, Babcock was still a member of the band, and had played as a backing guitarist at some recent concerts. Babcock is also the primary lyricist, and continues to write with the band to this day. Babcock still plays bass on the band's records to date.

The band recently announced on their MySpace that they are working on new material for a new album, and posted pictures of themselves recording in a studio. A.J. Babcock is with the other members in these pictures recording vocals, and is still contributing musically to the band. They still list him as an "on the record" band member on their MySpace page. The band is expected to announce more details soon.

The band has recently toured with other popular names in Christian rock, such as Family Force 5.
