Hundred Reasons are a British rock band from Camberley in west Surrey, originally signed to Columbia Records in mid-April 2001 after fourteen months of near-constant touring. Their music can be described as Post-Hardcore.

Their debut album Ideas Above Our Station reached number 6 in the UK album chart, spawned several Top 40 singles and has since gone gold, selling over 118,000 copies by mid-2005. The band went on to tour extensively throughout Europe and Japan. Despite selling more than 58,000 copies of second album Shatterproof Is Not A Challenge they were dropped by Sony BMG in June 2004.

Hundred Reasons signed to V2 Records in September 2005. Their third album Kill Your Own, with production duties handled by guitarist Larry Hibbitt, was released on March 20th, 2006, and has so far sold around 28,000 copies worldwide. The band completed a sold out UK tour in March 2006 and spent the summer playing festivals, including Reading/Leeds, touring Europe and playing in Japan. Their October 2006 tour has been postponed due to singer Colin Doran suffering from career-threatening vocal nodes. It was later rescheduled for January 2007. In all, three singles were released from Kill Your Own.

On August 9th 2006 it was announced on the band's official website that guitarist and vocalist Paul Townsend would be leaving the band following their tour of Japan in early September. The departure is said to be "totally amicable". Ben Doyle of The Lucky Nine has since joined the band as guitarist.

The band's as yet untitled fourth album was recorded in Riga, Latvia between February and April 2007, and is awaiting release later this year, also on V2 Records.
