Most people, regardless of their past, have a story that is yet to be written. Thank God for Jade Valerie fans, Jade's story looks like it is beggining all over again. While most young pop stars with similar success are returning from rehab, Jade has managed to suprise the record industry by returning with new solo album, a new sound, and a whole new focus to her already stellar career.
Altough this new album, titled Out of the box,is another team effort with longtime musical partner Geo, it far from the sound of the past. This album has a fresh new, sparking and unique sound, yet still features the emotional vocals and great songs that Sweetbox fans are accustomes to.

Geo and Jade have worked together for nearly 8 years and have accomplished to leave behind a nearly spotless musically history. This musical union has prodused albums that have reached gold, platinum and duble platinum status throughout the world! While the most artists view change as an opportunity to start over with new producers and an entire new environment, Jade viewed it as opportunity to extend upon that she had already built with Geo. " I felt like there were so many songs that Geo and I hand't written yet - says Jade. - My solo album was the perfect chance to take everything that we had built to a new level."
While still very yuong, Jade Valerie is hardly new to the entertainment industry - aside from her mega successuf career as the face and voice of Sweetbox, Jade filmed her first tv commercial as 5, she then ventured onto broadway and then onto Hollywood. She has a meaty resume in tv, including top shows Rescue 911, touched by Angel, several movies of the week and a guest star spots on several music videos including TLC's Unpretty. While acting and theatre were a great introduction to the industry, Jade wanted more, she wanted to write and sing.
Jade's roots as an artist srung from her passion for musical compositions. Jade remembers " I always loved country music and rock and blues. Growing up listening songs written by Stevie Nicks, James Taylor and Garry Burr is what first inspired me to want to be a songwriter and express myself in that way. They were so emotional and said things so simply, yet so beautifully. I was moved by great songs and emotional voices from an early age." Pop music is where Jade eventually found her home. While her sound is different from her early idols, it is still about great songs that inspire people with thoughtful lyrics, sentiment and emotional performences.
After a few years of struggling in the Los Angeles scene, Jade's voice and songwriting talent was discovered by Alan Rich. Alan introduced Jade to Geo, and the rest is history and the future. As the face and voice of Sweetbox, Jade not only earned international success as an artist, she was also the voice of popular Final Fantasy character, featured in campaings by Subaru and achieved many other accolades, the list too long to list individually. She has become one of the best selling international artist in Asia and earned her place in the history of the Japanese music market.
With a good dose of life experience, along with the musical experience of a seasoned pro, this still young and vibrant artist is ready to take the next step.
