Jamie Hartman (born 1973) is a British musician and songwriter, and is signed to Flat Cap Records as an artist. Previously billed as Ben's Brother, he is now releasing albums under his own name, and signed to Universal Music publishing as a writer.

As a BMI Award winning songwriter and Ivor Novello & Brit Award nominee with over 75 cuts to his name, Hartman has written for, produced or recorded/performed with many major label artists.

In 2010 Jamie relocated to Los Angeles, California and is currently working with some of America's top artists, writers, and producers out of his recording studio in Santa Monica. He is currently signed to Reverb Music Publishing in the UK and Universal Music Publishing in the US.

    Ben's Brother
Hartman is also a singer and has fronted his own band, Ben's Brother. He has released records through Island Records (Universal) & EMI. Their first album, Beta-Male Fairytales, reached number 14 on the UK Albums Chart, achieving silver disc status with UK sales of over 60,000. It included the single, "Let Me Out", which was nominated in the 2008 Ivor Novello Award Category "Best Song - Musically and Lyrically", going up against two songs by Amy Winehouse, "You Know I'm No Good" and "Love Is A Losing Game".

Ben's Brother recorded a second studio album in 2008, Battling Giants, which would be released by Island Records in 2009. The album contained two major collaborations, "Stalemate" with Joss Stone (album version) and Anastacia (single version) and "Battling Giants" with Jason Mraz.

Hartman has just recorded a new album in Los Angeles, with acclaimed record producer Warren Huart (The Fray, Augustana). The record is anticipated to be released in early 2012, although Hartman announced via the Band's Facebook page that the album (entitled III) would be released as a "Jamie Hartman album, not a Ben's Brother one". The first single entitled "Happy New Year" is currently at British radio and due to be released on Christmas Day 2011.
