Jean-Patrick Capdevielle is a French guitarist, lyricist, singer & video director, born on December 19, 1945 in Levallois-Perret, France. He bought his first guitar at 12, impressed by Elvis Presley. Jean-Patrick started as a journalist for "Salut Les Copains" & was an artistic director. Sometime later, he became a hippie & went on the road. In Ibiza, he sent his first demos then signed to CBS. Encouraged by Europe 1, he released his 7" "Tout Au Bout De La Ville" (with the B-side "Quand T'Es Dans Le Désert") in 1979, followed by his debut album Les Enfants Des Ténèbres Et Les Anges De La Rue & a tour. His following albums, from 2 to Planète X, all came out on CBS.
In 1988, he released Nouvel Âge on WEA/Warner, produced by Romano Musumarra. The same year, he hosted a show on FR3, played in the film "Le Mausolée Des Sables" & founded the cinema production "Cadrages", with the film "Salaam Bombay".
In the 90's, Capdevielle released Vue Sur Cour, Vertigo & his compilation Politiquement Correct. Also a fan of Italian opera, he composed & produced "Atylantos", with, among others, Chiara Zeffirelli. In 2007, Jean-Patrick's album Hérétique 13, including "Miss Démocratie", came out.
