AboutLisa Lois (full name: Lisa Hordijk, born June 22, 1987) is a Dutch singer and winner of the second season of X Factor.
Lisa was born in Wageningen, Netherlands. Her debut single, a cover of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" went straight to number one in the Dutch Top 40.
Before Lisa participated in X Factor she was in a band called Left Lane Lisa which was quite popular in her hometown and in some other parts of the Netherlands. Ironically, "Hallelujah" was also used on the United Kingdom's The X Factor, and was released as the first single of British winner Alexandra Burke.
The single 'Hallelujah' went double platinum within one month, selling over 100,000 copies as of today. Lisa finished the work on her debut album Smoke, released in the Netherlands on November 27, 2009. The first single of her album is "No Good For Me".
