Lost Harmony represents the notion that life is too complex and fractured to ever come together in one final, harmonious union. Indeed, it is a requiem for all that humanity has accordingly lost.

In terms of music, Lost Harmony has chosen Death Metal, arguably the most abrasive and acerbic of all musical styles, as the means to voice their convictions. At the very core of the band lies the belief that this is the most powerful way to communicate their ideas, when infused with melodies that give equal precedence to feelings and emotions.

Formed in 2010 by Emre Ustuisik (guitar and vocals), Guney Bilgi (drums), Tarik Algin (bass and vocals) and Erman Ozkal (guitar), the band has created their own personal brand of melodic, progressive Death Metal.
As propagators of such a style, Lost Harmony focusses on weaving rhythmic, melodic and lyrical fragments into their compositions that help listeners to draw parrallels between their personal lives and experiences and the band's own grand design.

The compositions and their lyrics present an evaluation of everything we've lived and every chance we've missed, both individually and collectively. These perspectives in turn help us to evaluate our lives in a new way, in which past losses and regrets are brought into the fray in the present to contribute to the formation of new possibilities in the future.

With this philosophy in mind, Lost Harmony is a testament to the idea that every requiem for the past can actually be a banner of hope for the future.
