Low-Beam first set out for battle during a New England Nor'easter. The brigade was built on the idea that taking the back road would prove to be a better ride, and on the ideal that slow and steady ultimately wins the race. They believed that driving unhurried with the beams on low gave means for conversation of sound and mind. Low-Beam plays a soft, familiar indie rock rife with light keyboard drones and dainty boy-girl singing. With an arsenal of material in their holster the light brigade began to master the anthemic musings that "Charge" would become; a calling to all those who struggle to rise above hardship and set-back in the daily life of love. The sounds come together to form one unique dual-voice. The effect is made more memorable when juxtaposed against the ferociousness of guitar, sweet and stinging, and spiced liberally with the driving and surging rhythm section.
