AboutAn anointed gospel choir of young people from Houston, TX with a youthful beat that moves, grooves, & has a great love and zeal to praise God just like King David. This choir was started in 1994. James "Red" Adolph, a radical young man for Christ, who wanted to do something for Kingdom building had a vision. James vision was brought to Mark Gordon & later that vision was reality. They started the ministry & named it Eternal Life Ministries & Mark Gordon became the director. Mark is also a Band Director of Prairie View A&M University Band called the "Marching Storm" who had a live performance with "Black Eyed Peas" during the 2011 Super Bowl Half Time Show in Dallas, TX. Four months later, Mark Gordon released his Gospel album called "The Gospel According To Mark."
Eternal Life Ministries (E-Life) has developed into an awesome tool of God to be used to fulfill the Great Commission. E-Life is preaching the word of God through song & deed. They use their youthful energies to encourage others to live upright life-styles with Jesus Christ. When asked to sing, E-Life views that invitation as an open door to minister the love, mercy, & grace of our Lord. A few of the E-Life members are ministers & others have accepted the call of God upon their lives in the place called "there".
Past well known E-Life members are: James Fortune, Gary Mayes, & Nikki Ross. With performances on BET (Black Entertainment Television) in 1996, winning the Texas Gospel Music Award "Choir of The Year" in 1997, stage openings for gospel artist such as: Kirk Franklin, Yolanda Adams, Fred Hammond, Kathy Taylor, Ricky Dillard, Vicki Winans, & several others, E-Life is setting high standards of holiness & righteousness, they not only talk the talk but they also walk the walk.
Mark Gordon has stayed true to the vision of this ministry; " SAVE SOULS BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY BY WAY OF SONG, DANCE, STEP, ETC. " On Father's Day 1998, Mark confessed his calling to be a Minister & now understands that God is expanding his territory through the word & the life style that he is exhibiting. Mark Gordon & Eternal Life Ministries consists of over 30 members of young adults in the Houston area setting a standard of holiness never seen before in this nation.
