AboutNeil Merryweather is a Canadian born bass player, singer, songwriter who has worked with Charlie Musselwhite, Steve Millar, Dave Mason, and many other artists. His bands have included Ivar Avenue Reunion and Space Rangers, among others. And he has also done solo albums usually with many well known guest artists. His best known albums are probably Ivar Avenue Reunion, Word of Mouth, and Kryptonite all released in the early 1970's. He continues to write, record and play through the present day. He plays a variety of styles from blues, to psychedelic rock, to contemporary rock and jazz. While never reaching the heights of fame of many of his friends he is well known among serious music aficionados, record collectors and musicians.
