AboutIt all started the 31th of August 2008 when Andréas got invited to a group at Facebook with the name No Shave November. The purpuse of the group was that if you were a man, you shouldn't shave your face in the month of November. The day after, he told his friends about the group and they thought it sounded like a good name for a band, so they all ran o and started writing what would become the song "Count to Eight."
The newly formed band made their way through Swedens biggest music competition, Musik-Direkt, and they also won the grand nal at Uppsala Concert Hall in May-09. A couple of weeks later, they performed at Music Live Festival in Brussels in July-09. The song "Count to Eight" started to get rotation at the Swedish Radio P4 and the Swedish Television also did a interview with the band.
They focus on writing strong, catchy melodies with tight arrangements and they're all big fans of Lennon/McCartney's songwriting skills.
Since August they've been in the studio between the gigs, writing and recording new material for their forthcoming debut album which is due for release in early spring 2010 on the independent label SMN Records. The song "America" was recently released for free download along with "Count to Eight" on their official website: www.noshavenovember.net
The band's fanbase is constantly growing around the world and the future's looking bright for these boys in suits and ties.
