Five years ago, Paula was a young single mother who packed up her life in New Zealand and moved to Australia with her three daughters and nothing but a backpack each. She is inspired by her family and also artists who she believes sing through their hearts, like Tracey Chapman, Queen Latifah, Etta James and Adele. Paula doesn't believe she has 'the look' the music industry seems to sell and believes if ever there was ever a perfect opportunity to achieve her singing dreams, this is it.
