His pop music has blues and jazz influences with occasional trips to rap and world music. Daniele sang mainly in Italian and sometimes in the dialect of his native city of Naples. His career spanned more than thirty-five years and has made him one of the greatest Italian pop artists . He worked in the past along with internationally known names as the jazz pianist Chick Corea and the folk and soul singer Richie Havens
