AboutBorn in Ireland but based in Switzerland, Polar (real name Eric Linder) played in rock bands where he wasn't at his place. Touched by Nick Drake, Tim Buckley & Neil Young, he recorded his first album in English, in his kitchen in 1996. Bi-Polar in 1998 & Somatic in 2002 were more electronic. In September 2006, Polar released his first album in French, Jour Blanc, with lyrics written by Miossec. The follow-up French Songs came out in March 2009.
