Raeliss Marrero (b. September 29th, 1992) is a Dominican recording artist. He made his recording debut in late 2011 with the album Take One at the age of 19. The album featured the hit single "Everything", which reached 5000 downloads in 7 days.
    Early Life
Singer/Songwriter/Producer Raeliss was born on September 29th, 1992, in New Orleans, LA. Raeliss is already on his way to music superstardom with his smooth voice, and boy-next-door charm. Growing up in a large city of 8,000,000 people, he was a born entertainer. Raeliss enjoyed singing in his neighborhood choir and was inspired by such musical artists as Ryan Leslie, Tank, and Musiq Soulchild.
Raeliss began taking weekly classes so he can musically advance at Renaissance, Education Music, and Sports in the Bronx. Marrero took classes for Studio Production, Vocal Production, and Piano classes. His skills have improved since he attended the music school. In the summer of 2006, Marrero joined the Renaissance E.M.S. Band as a vocalist. The youth band began performing across the city of New York as well as other select states. The band takes lead by Bervine Harris and Darren Quinlan. The Renaissance E.M.S. Band is scheduled to go on tour in New York Summer of 2009 to perform their debut self-titled album.
    Young Star
Jose R. Pablo, who works for OTL Records, Inc. discovered Raeliss. He told WorldLatinStar.Com, "I saw the talent in him, I knew that I could help him in his goal to fame," Pablo eventually became his manager and helped him land a deal with OTL Records, Inc., which had developed other young acts such as El Bounet and NegroCiego and is home to other producers like Maniac Musik. At the time of deal, Raeliss was only 14 years old.
Raeliss' album Take One was released in September 2011 and quickly spread its way onto major websites on the web. Working with established producers and songwriters, he had a number one hit with "Everything" which was produced by Diamond Style Prod. More hits followed, including "One Last (Dance) Ft. Drama" and "I Miss You," which was produced by Raeliss himself. While many of the songs have a hip-hop influence, Raeliss' voice has a classic R&B sound. And just like many other young adults, dating and girls figure prominently in his songs. He has sometimes been compared to Trey Songz & J. Holiday because of his style of music.
In 2010, Raeliss went out on the road for the Music With A Message tour. He played more than 72 concerts across NY along with the MWAM Band. "I love performing live, it gives me a chance to share a connection with my fans," Raeliss told BlazeMusic.Net.
Raeliss plans to found the Organization for Fatherless Children to help curb youth violence by spreading a positive message to young men and women through music and community activities. He also hopes to have children of his own and to be for them the positive male role model that he never had growing up. "Growing up with a single parent made me who I am today, but seeing my friends interact with their fathers let me see that I was missing some sort of comfort and understanding that I could only understand from a father. I dream that no one would ever have to experience what lots of kids around the world have to go through."
