AboutSwedish band originally called Kingpin moved to L.A. and changed their name to Shotgun Messiah. Their first self titled album was released in 1989 with the line up consisting of Zinny J. San (vocals), Harry K. Cody (guitar), Tim Tim (bass), Stixx Galore (drums) Zinny left shortly after to form the Zan Clan. Their next album 'Second Coming' released in 1991 saw Tim Tim drop his bass, change his name and take up vocal duties
Tim Skold (vocals), Harry Cody (guitar), Bobby Lycon (bass), Stixx (drums) in 1992 they released the 5 track 'I Want More EP' By 1993 the only remaining members Cody and Skold went in a new direction recording the industrial sounding album 'Violent New Breed' this would be the last album from Shotgun Messiah.
Tim Skold released a solo album 'Skold' in 1996 and joined industrial band KMFDM the following year. He also performed with Faster Pussycat vocalist Taime Downe's band The Newlydeads before joining Marilyn Manson replacing bassist Twiggy Ramirez.
