Slow Coming Day is an indie rock band based out of Orange County, California which was formed back in 2001.
The band has covered some impressive ground since it's beginnings, releasing an independent
EP in 2002 entitled "A Part of Me Died" and a full-length album, "Farewell to the Familiar" on Tooth and Nail Records in 2003.
The band has toured extensivley in the past few years in support of their debut full-length and has shared the stage with the likes of Mae, Copeland, Emery, Anberlin, Mewithoutyou, Gatsby's American Dream, Spitalfield, Action Action, and Further Seems Forever just to name a few. The band plans to go back into the studio to record new material in 2006.
