AboutA French singer/songwriter with a penchant for American alternative rock, Steeve Estatof was the winner of the second season of France's version of Pop Idol, called Nouvelle Star, in 2004. Born in 1972 in Grenoble, Estatof wiled away the years working and playing in a number of bands before throwing in his lot with the television reality talent show in 2004. Winning was celebrated with a single release ("Garde-Moi"), and a solo Top 10 album, À L'Envers, both released in 2004.
