The band began in the early nineties in a great little club owned by the lead singer Chris Albert. Fernando's Hideaway was a gathering place for both touring and local musicians. The town of Reeds Spring was only 13 miles from Branson, MO and the musical energy was boiling over. The unique sound of flute, synthesized pedal steel, and fretless bass was a local favorite. After several years of performing in the southwest Missouri area the band decided to record a CD of some of the audience favorites. With the help of friend and producer Michael Brewer, of Brewer and Shipley fame, they produced a CD called "Covers". The CD was presented by Whit Records of Dallas, TX in Cannes at the Midem Music Conference, and they were invited by Prestige-Elite Records of England to distribute the Covers CD in Europe.

After a 10 year break, and separate musical endeavors, the group decided to get back together and perform again as Techs and the Roadies. With only one core member change after the death of dobro and pedal steel genius Dave Krusell, they have added John Lance, keyboard player; guitarist, and Tom Harrison on percussion . The sound is still unique and the vocals are better than ever.

Techs and the Roadies music is now available on 100 Internet music sites including
    Itunes, EMusic and Rapsody.
