Canadian Barry Harris and Chris Cox were some of the most successful remix/production in American mainstream dance music. Harris first recorded music as Kon Kan, who had minor hits with "I Beg Your Pardon", "Puss N' Boots / These Boots Are Made For Walkin'" and "Sinful Wishes", and later recorded with Rachid Wehbi and vocalist Kimberley Wetmore as Outta Control, who scored a minor hit with their cover of Kon Kan's "Sinful Wishes" and Joan Osborne's "One Of Us". Outta Control recorded for Interhit Records, founded by Cox. Eventually, Barry & Chris started recording and remixing together and made over 100 mixes and productions to their credit. Their debut was a cover of Andy Gibb's "I Just Want To Be Your Everything" with Thea Austin (vocalist for Snap! and Soulsearcher).
    Among their most significant works:
    - "Kiss The Rain" by Billie Myers: their first early success and their third mix ever done.
    - "It's Not Right But It's OK" by Whitney Houston.
    - "Sexual (Li Da Di)" by Amber.
    - "Naked Without You" by Taylor Dayne.
    - "All For You" by Janet Jackson.
    - The "GHV2 Megamix" for Madonna.
    - "No More Drama" by Mary J. Blige.
Their single "Stand Up", sung by Latanza Waters, is an update of the famous Love Tribe hit from 1996, also sung by Waters.
Their single, "Head", recorded with Barnes, was believed to be the first #1 single on the Billboard Dance Club Play Chart that was not signed to any label.
Citing creative differences, the duo splitted in September 2003 to pursue solo projects. Their last mix together was for U.S. 'tween-queen' Hilary Duff and the appropriately-titled single, "So Yesterday". The duo managed to draw a fine line between commercial and underground mixes throughout their career.
