AboutVincent Delerm was born on August 31, 1976 in Rouen, France. Son of famous writers, he first liked French singers. In 1993, he was in the band Triste Sire, learned piano by himself & started to write his first songs. In Rouen University, Vincent studied modern letters & was interested by theatre. But he was disappointed with his first plays. In 1999, a 4-track EP was published & Vincent settled in Paris.
He met the actor François Morel & went to shows on Radio France. Vincent met Thomas Fersen during a radio programme & signed on his label WEA/Tôt Ou Tard. In 2002, Vincent released his debut album & sold 100,000 copies. His songs are about daily life, sometimes they are funny. In 2003, Vincent received a Victoire De La Musique for "Album Révélation". The following year, he was back with his second album Kensington Square & Les Piqûres D'Araignée, with perfect musical arrangements, followed in 2006. In June 2007, his son Sacha was born. In 2008, Vincent released Quinze Chansons, including 15 stories, funny, touching & amusing.
