    1Insert Profanity Here [2009]

Started in the summer of 2005, bonded together by an attachment to punk rock and Mark, Tom and Travis. Two band mates Zach Moore and Jake Miller bring the neighborhood of Highland Park in Lafayette to a standstill once or twice a week. Not because they suck, but because the people who live in this vicinity recognize that V70 mixes an eclectic blend of fierce guitar riffs and pounding drum beats. They are bouncing back remarkably after the abrupt departure of lead guitarist Devin Hamrick in early 2006. "Devin's a dick, he only wanted to jam so he could steal our shit." Zach proclaims. The growth is no doubt noticeable, their MySpace account friendship levels rose 550% in the last 3 months, "This has been really unexpected, but welcomed." Says unofficial band manager Eric Githens. "I gotta get paid somehow, I can't work at SIA on the fucking assembly line you know?"

In the first single off their debut album, "Two of a kind" they bring together the bond shared between new lovers, and encourage openness between each other with words that carry far and beyond the satellite cities of Lafayette. "It's a fucking hit." Jake says, at a recent jam session. "All credit goes to Zach though, he wrote everything, I just put down a shitty drum beat and maybe suggested some different lyrics."

Expect big things in the future for Volume 70. They confess a lot of great material has gone into this debut. This has worried some devout fans who think that their tank will run dry before they leave the state. "I wouldn't worry about that, I read a lot of books. There is infinite amount of things to write about." Zach says.

And so it goes. The next chapter will begin.
