    About Watts Left
Watts Left, the long time dream of frontman Wes Nance, has been a long time coming. Born and raised in the South, Wes Nance has certianly paid his dues. From the time Wes picked up the guitar at age 15, he's been a fixture at local dives and bars. It wasn't an easy road but turned him into the gritty musician he is today.

As with many stuggling bands with a tough path in front of them, Watts Left has gone through many personnel changes including losing their original bassist, Kevin "Caveman" Davis who went on to build Studio 5 Recording studios and co-produce the "Shot in the Dark" album. He and Wes also co-produced the CD, "Midwest Carolina Blues" by Micheal B. Smith. This became the first blues album to be inducted into the Nebraska Rockabilly Hall of Fame. Drummer Chad Buie and bassist Harold Pridgen went on to form "Till the End", a praise and worship band and continue to work for the Lord. Former lead guitarist Mark Cannell, went on to form and front his own heavy rock band, Lowgate. Sadly, legendary guitarist Keith Starr died suddenly. He was know for his life on the road and was a former member of Slaves to Passion featuring the former members of Nantucket. Others have came and went and have lost contact but they know who they are and their time was well spent and appreciated. But now with a solid line up and one of the best local followings in North Carolina, Watts Left is taking a tight grip on the world of music, showing that even though they may be "Watts Left" of a once dominate genre, they are more than up to the challenge of being a force in southern rock.
