AboutKvartetten bildades 1928 av Folke Rydberg och i kvartetten ingick Ivar Hallbäck, Carl Winther och Gösta Bergström, senare ersatt av Thore Christiansen. Ledare och pianist var Sune Waldimir fram till 1935 och han efterträddes av Nathan Görling fram till 1940. Gruppen gjorde ett 50-tal skivinspelningar. Ibland kallade sig kvartetten The Rhytmic Four
