AboutBarbara Mitchell is a singer, songwriter, and lead singer of High Inergy (1977-1984). She is a sister of contemporary Christian and Gospel recording artist Vernessa Mitchell (who left High Inergy in 1978).

She embarked her solo career and released two albums: Get Me Through The Night in 1984 and High On Love in 1986. She sing background vocals on few of Vernessa's gospel albums.
