OmBea Miller is currently recording and periodically releasing new music in 2023-2024. A collection of some of these new songs and music videos will be included in Bea Miller's Cabinet.
Bea Miller is an American singer/songwriter and actress who came to worldwide attention when she appeared as a contestant on the television program X Factor US in 2012. Consequently, Miller went away with an extensive fan base and, in response, posted numerous YouTube covers in the time before, as well as some after, she began her studio work with Hollywood & Syco Records in mid-2013.
That work culminated, in April 2014, with a 4 song EP, Young Blood. Miller's two singles from the EP, Young Blood and Fire N Gold, have been certified gold in the US. Her long-awaited 11-song debut album, Not an Apology was released in July 2015.
In late 2016, Miller released a non-radio single yes girl as a teaser for her second album, aurora. In addition, Miller's newly recorded cover of Be My Baby, originally released by the The Ronettes in 1963, was released Spring of 2017 as a promo for the ABC-TV remake of the movie Dirty Dancing. Another song, Brand New Eyes, that Miller co-wrote for the movie Wonder, was released as a radio single on September 29, 2017.
Miller's 2nd album, aurora, introduced during 2017 with three 3-song EP's, was released in February 2018 with a total of 14 songs. The three EPs were named, chapter one: blue, with lead single song like you, chapter two: red, and chapter three: yellow, with lead single sweet little unforgettable thing. A third single from the album project was titled motherlove.
A NOTD single, I Wanna Know ft. Bea Miller, was released on May 14, 2018. By the end of summer it was certified platinum in Sweden, Norway, Canada and Australia and certified gold in the US. It has since gone RIAA platinum.
The second single pre-released from Lostboycrow's Santa Fe album, Waste of Time ft. Bea Miller, debuted on billboard.com on Nov. 8, 2018.
Referring (Oct 2018) to her next album due out in 2019: Miller tweeted "bm3 is COMING and she's a MONSTER." - @beamiller. The album's lead single, it's not u it's me ft. 6LACK, was released Feb 28, 2019. Since, three additional singles have been released: feel something, FEELS LIKE HOME, and NEVER GONNA LIKE YOU. At some point. after some delay, the album plans were cancelled.
The song THAT BITCH was independently released by olliebear records on Nov 1, 2019.
In July 2020, it was announced that an EP would soon be released. In a surprise move, feel something, having gone viral on social media, notably, on tiktok, was released to CHR and HAC radio in mid-September, 2020.
Concert-wise, Miller opened for Demi Lovato on the US portion of the #DemiWorldTour in October 2014, for Fifth Harmony on the #SummerReflectionTour in 2015 and for Selena Gomez on the #RevivalTour in 2016. In mid 2017, Miller completed a four city headlining mini-tour. A major headlining tour of the US and Canada, the 'nice to meet u' tour, was performed in April & May of 2019. Miller's album tour, including four European dates, and named the 'Sunsets In Outerspace' tour, ran in autumn of 2019. Interspersed with the 2019 tour dates, Miller prerformed at numerous music festivals including Firefly, Lollapalooza, Oshega, Life is Beautiful and Austin City Limits. Miller, during 2020 and 2021, performed several virtual concerts and, in 2022, performed about one live show per month. Of note, on June 5, 2022, Miller opened for Coldplay when their Music of the Spheres World Tour came to MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, NJ, USA.
