OmDescendants is a 2015 Disney Channel Original movie directed and choreographed by Kenny Ortega. (His discography includes working with Disney on the successful "High School Musical" movie trilogy).
The movie centres around four teens from known Disney villains tasked to reclaim their 'evil' status by taking the Fairy Godmother's wand located in the kingdom of Auradon that can break the barrier of the villains imprisonment on the Isle of the Lost. However, they learn that they're not to be defined by their parent's actions, can make their own choices and that 'good is better than evil' overall.
It starred Dove Cameron as Mal - the daughter of Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty, Sofia Carson as Evie - daughter of the Evil Queen from Snow White, Booboo Stewart as Jay - son of Jafar from Aladdin and the late Cameron Boyce as Carlos - son of Cruella De Vil from 101 Dalmations.
It's followed by movies - Descendants 2 [2017] (movie) and Descendants 3 [2019] (movie).
