AboutIn a recent interview with Mid-Western pop rockers Every Avenue was a question that would normally be difficult to answer: "How would you describe your sound?" For singer Dave Strauchman answer was simple: "We sound like Every Avenue" His answer could not be more true Every Avenue mixes a style that is all at once innovative and reminiscent of a time in rock and roll in the name of the game was simply to have fun The Marysville Michigan quintet has been climbing the ladder industry since 2003 and armed with a spectacular new record and a heavy Tour schedule the way it appears to be going quite high up in the sky
Every Avenue formed in 2003 and self-released two EP's over 2004 and 2006 before the signing of Southern California label Fearless Records 2007 who released their acclaimed EP AH! In February 2008 the band released their debut full length, Shh ... Just go with it and saw it rise to # 27 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart postal first single "Where Were You?" Got to play on Yahoo Radio and AOL Radio and was also featured on "MTV's Real World / Road Rules Challenge: The Gauntlet" get more than 150,000 downloads on Mark Hoppus' "Hi My Name Is Mark" blog on I-Tunes The video also won MTV's The Freshman
With their second album, Picture Perfect Every Avenue is set to take things to a new level band bounced in and out of the studio much of the winter and spring, worked hard on the LP produced Mitch Allan (Jonas Brothers Faith Hill) and Mike Green (Paramore The Higher Set Yvåra Case) "We spent all our nyour time in LA writing and recording "remembers guitarist Jimmie Deeghan" It was a long process any time we had off, we seemed to fly some place to record experience was uneven, terribly large incredibly stressful and rewarding all wrapped in a "The long-awaited follow-up Shh ... Just Go With It album contains 11 massive euphoric-sounding songs showcasing the band's ability to diversify their hooks Picture Perfect offers a much wider selection of songs than their debut from the mid-tempo jam for fun, sing-a-longs-radio hits " We are very pleased with how the album came out, "says guitarist Joshua Randall," We had the opportunity to try a lot of things that we have always wanted to try "The excitement and achievements vibe radiating from the band reflectorTERAS on each track of Picture Perfect, which will hit stores in November 2009 with the permission of Fearless Records
