Forgive Durden is a four piece band from Seattle, WA. It was formed in 2003 when Thomas Dutton decided he wanted to get serious about his songwriting. He met bassist Jesse Bauer at school and drummer Andy Maninno through a friend and Forgive Durden was born. While writing and playing catchy and technical pop-rock, Dutton wrote intense, deep lyrics to fuel the music. Forgive Durden's music is a breath of fresh air, complete with soaring choruses, tempo changes, and varied instrumentation.
The band entered the studio in the summer of 2004 to record their debut EP "When You're Alone, You're Not Alone" with producer Casey Bates. The recording process was an uplifting experience, and the EP was independently released in September of 2004. The seven track EP is a blast of passionate pop-rock intensity accompanied by stunning lyrics. Second guitarist Thomas Hunter was then added to the line-up.
