AboutFuture Idiots, a pop-punk quintet from southern Sweden, took off and climbed onto the Top-100-List of Sweden's most subscribed bands on YouTube. Despite the fact that the Idiots hail from Sweden the big crowd, and the majority of the listeners are from either USA or Germany and by today's date the official channel have had more than 13,000,000 views and 32,000 subscribers.
It all started in the spring of 2005 when Marius came up with some plans on re-taking the third year on his upper secondary school studies. He wanted to do this just to get in the same class as Mike and Kennie so that they could start a band. A series of short-term members and 5 years later Future Idiots was signed by American "Pacific Ridge Records". The record company have had 8 different releases with the hardworking band that have shared stages with punk rock giants like; All Time Low, Anti-Flag, H2O, Propagandhi and Millencolin.
In 2013 Future Idiots went on their first European tour with shows in Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, France and Slovenia. The great recognition started after releasing their selftitled album and Neighborhoods & Morningswoods one year earlier. The releases resulted in a large number of tweets and exposure on the social medias and even an interview with KROQ-FM. The band was at it's peak sharing stage with the big punk rock bands at Punk Rock Holiday in Slovenia.
The great year took a tragic turn when leadsinger Marius Paxcow got into bad economical problems and were close giving up his musical dream. Living in his brothers basement for 6 months he was back up on his feet with a new and more calculated approach to the music. He started a pledge music campaign and earned just enough money to get rid of the debts. In return, the fans were given 2 new solo-albums "What Still Romains" and "Grand Theft Audio VI".
In 2014 Future Idiots were back on the road again touring Belgium and the Netherlands. They took off from where they abruptly had to end the year before and the making of their 5th original album started. 2015 they were celebrating their 10th anniversary with recording a brand new album "Murphy's Law. The new album will be released in 2016 and will be following up cover album Grand Theft Audio III.
