My buddy Bob, the boys and me
Out to prove what his kids believed
In a Santa outfit he was fit to a t
He was standing on his roof, gonna shimmy down the chimney
When he slipped on the ice and went down on his fanny
Caught the corner of the gutter on his pants in the night
Lost the rest of his suit somewhere in flight
He was naked as a reindeer
And when he took off we all cheered

When the cops pulled up, it was quite a sight
He was twisted tangled up in the Christmas lights
He went face down in a foot of snow
Somebody yelled, "Hey, that's Santa with no clothes on"
They covered him up with a Christmas wreath
And a snowman's hat from across the street
No Donner, no Blitzen, no Rudolph in sight
