Gusttavo Lima (1989) is a stage name for Nivaldo Batista Lima, Brazilian singer and composer of country music.
Gusttavo was born in Presidente Olegário, Minas Gerais (Brazil). He spent his childhood in Goiás. At 9 years of age he gave a presentation singing the song "É Amor" by Zeze di Camargo, when the public first saw his talent.
With influences ranging from Chitãozinho and Chororó Zeze di Camargo, Gusttavo Lima's songs have gained greater success after the signing of the contract with record label Som Livre in 2010 when it launched the DVD and CD "Inventor do Amor" with 15 000 copies sold.
In 2011, Lee released the DVD Gusttavo "Gusttavo Lima e Você" recorded in concert in Patos de Minas, which was attended by the public of 60 thousand people. The work was certified platinum by ABPD and reached 7th place by that same association in the ranking of top 20 CDs CD-Weekly.
Gusttavo Lima began his first international tour in 2012, with shows in Pompano Beach (Florida) and Atlanta (Georgia) and Massachusetts. He gained international success in 2012 with the song "Balada", ranked number 1 in the Netherlands and Belgium, and number 2 in France, Austria, and Switzerland.
