AboutSita Vermeulen is a Dutch singer & TV hostess, born on June 8, 1980 in Ilpendam, the Netherlands. At 21, she participated to the show "Starmaker", Dutch version of "Operacion Triunfo". She was a member of the band K-Otic during their first year. Sita left the band in 2002 & met producers Douglas Carr & Ulric Johansson in Stockholm. Sita's debut single has been "Happy" & her debut album Happy came out in 2002. The other singles were "Hello" & "Selfish". In November 2002, she participated to Kyo's song "Le Chemin". The following year, she released her second album Come With Me. The singles were the title-track, "Popstar" & "Dance The Night Away". On her second album, songwriters have been Lisa Lindebergh, Jimmy Monell, Stephanie Bentley, Ben Copland & Tony Cornelissen. In March 2004, her second album was re-released in France with 4 French songs & named L'Envers Du Décor. The lead single "Ce Qui Nous Rend Fous" has previously been sung in Spanish by Nika as "¿Quién Dijo Que Era El Fin?".
