RólBarış Manço was a Turkish singer songwriter composer and television programmer. He was born on 2 January 1943 in İstanbul.
His mother Rikkat Uyanık was a famous Turkish singer. During the 60's he lived in Paris and founded the band Les Mistigris. Considered one of the most influential pop artists of Turkey, he founded the band Kurtalan Ekspres.
Late 1980's years he produced and present for Trt (Turkish Government Radio Television Channel) a program called "Yediden Yetmişyediye" (From Seven To Seventyseven) and during this program he showed all the world in television.
Unfortunately we have lost him on 1 February 1999, may God rests him in peace.
