At the conclusion of this 13-week program, five contestants were able to achieve their goal of joining CNCO: Christopher Vélez, Erick Brian Colón, Joel Pimentel, Richard Camacho and Zabdiel de Jesús. They won over millions of viewers, along with the renowned judges of La Banda: Ricky Martin, Laura Pausini and Alejandro Sanz. Winning a spot on this band came with the tremendous reward of a recording contract with Sony Music Latin, and a management deal with an all-pro team led by Ricky Martin.
Since then, CNCO has been working non-stop in the studio preparing for their first album, which was produced by the renowned urban artist Wisin. Their first single, Tan Fácil, which launched towards the end of January 2016, immediately gained the #1 position in iTunes only hours after its release. Two months later, Tan Facil held the #1 slot in Billboard's "Latin Airplay."
Also in early 2016, Ricky Martin invited them to open his "One World Tour" through Latin America, where they performed in Puerto Rico, Argentina and Chile; undoubtedly, making this their greatest moment to date. Shortly after, CNCO did a promo tour in Ecuador where they were greeted by tens of thousands of fans that call themselves #CNCOwners, causing a frenzy at each place they visited.
In regards to social media, CNCO is also taking this by storm. With just a few months since they launched as a boy band, CNCO has managed to capture the hearts and attention of thousands of fans around the world, with a social media amplification of +311k followers on Facebook, +295k followers on Instagram, +65k followers on Twitter, and tens of thousands more on SnapChat. Moreover, the Tan Facil video already boasts 5+ million views on YouTube, with only a few weeks after its reveal.
CNCO will continue with its promotional tour during the next few months. This summer, the boy band will embark on a Selfie Bus Tour where they will visit radio stations and surprise their biggest fans by surprising them at their high schools.
The best news of all? This is just beginning. This May, CNCO will launch its new remix of Tan Fácil ft. Wisin. In addition, they will also launch their much-anticipated second single, Quisiera, followed by the video, which was produced in Argentina and directed by renowned Carlos Pérez.
