RólLinkup was the third band created by French "Popstars" in 2003. That year, the show was titled "The Duel". 2 bands, a boysband & a girlsband, were created, one of them would win. The boysband, Linkup, won the duel. The band members were Lionel Tim (from Valence), Matthieu Tota (born on September 26, 1985 in Strasbourg) & Otis. Their first single "Mon Étoile", French adaptation of Alejandro Parreño's "Hide", had been N°1 in the French Top 50 in December 2003. Unfortunately, the second single "Une Seconde D'Éternité" & their album Notre Étoile were less successful. Linkup recorded a duet with Blue, "You & Me Bubblin'". In August 2004, Linkup disbanded & Matthieu started his solo career under the name Matt Pokora.
