His parents were Irish, and he grew up in a family with a strong musical tradition. Sabre started singing and playing guitar at a young age and was influenced by various genres of music, including soul, blues, hip-hop and reggae.

Sabre began his music career in 2011, when he released his debut single "Look What I've Done" on Mercury Records. The song received critical acclaim and was followed by his first album "Lonely Are the Brave" in 2012. The album was also well-received and featured Sabre's unique blend of soulful singing and rapping. The album's lead single, "I Need", reached the top 20 of the UK Singles Chart.

Sabre has since released two more studio albums "Innerstanding" in 2015 and "When I Wake Up" in 2019. He has collaborated with various artists, including Jorja Smith, Joey Bada$$, and Chronixx.
