AboutLiam Bailey is an English (born 11 March 1983) musician who has released two EPs; So Down, Cold and 2am Rough Tracks; Bailey also appeared on the Chase & Status single "Blind Faith" which was released on 24 January 2011 in the United Kingdom, where it debuted at number five. Bailey's debut single "You Better Leave Me" was released on 2 March on Polydor Records.
In 2010, Bailey released two EPs; "2am Rough Tracks" and "So Down, Cold" on Lioness Records - an imprint record label of soul musician Amy Winehouse, who after enjoying the musical findings of the singer, released the first EP some weeks after.
Recorded entirely by Bailey and his guitar, the debut EP 2am Rough Tracks was rushed-released on 23 September 2010 following the recording only some weeks before. The three track extended play consists of tracks; "Your Heart's Not Safe", "I'd Rather Go Blind" and "Please, Please, Please, Let Me Get What I Want". The extended play was then followed by a second three track EP, again released through Lioness Records; on 29 November 2010. The EP, So Down, Cold featured the tracks; "Fool Boy", "Breaking Out" and "So Down, Cold".
His debut album will be entitled Out of the Shadows, due for release in 2011. He has already shot a video for the promotional single, "You Better Leave Me" from the album.
Bailey sites his main influences as varying from both American/British rock & Roll to Soul/ Blues music and beyond.
On 10 June 2010, Bailey shared a stage with BRIT Award winning singer-songwriter Ellie Goulding at the Tabernacle in Notting Hill. During November 2010, Bailey also began to tour with Drum and Bass-duo Chase & Status on their UK tour, where he joined them during the performances of "Blind Faith", a single he was recently revealed to be featured on.
Bailey will be supporting Jessie J during her UK tour in April 2011.
With the aid of musical producer Salaam Remi, Bailey is due to release his debut album through Polydor Records during 2011.
