AboutLisa Barel (real name Élisabeth Barel) is a French pianist & singer-songwriter, born in 1973 in Rennes, France. At 14, she started playing the electric organ & the piano. For many years, she has been performing in bars. In 2001, at 27 years old, she released her self-titled debut album on Tôt Ou Tard, that included "Balivernes", "Et Mieux" & "Les Vagues". In 2006, she released her first book, L'Everest Au Plafond.
